Golden Gate Fortune Cookie Factory

If you find yourself wandering the streets through Chinatown, make a stop at the Golden Gate Cookie Factory. It’s tucked away down a non-descript alley. A hidden street I probably would have never walked down without a destination. I followed the smell of vanilla wafers into the small factory. After watching the process, you can buy a bag of fortune cookies (chocolate, almond, or vanilla) for $1. They ask for $.50 a photo so I only got one! It was worth it. I took my fortune cookies to Aquatic Park, to sit and enjoy the sea.

About Soup and the Clouds

I treasure the small adventures in life. Such as, listening to records, making jam from farmer's market produce, seeing new sites, eating the best tomato I've ever had, reading a good book, watching a film, appreciating a good font, going for a long bike ride or walking down a street I've never walked on before. The list goes on.
