East Coast Whirlwind

Our trip to New York was very brief.  We spent two nights and half a day in Manhattan and the remainder of the time was in Hartford, CT visiting family. We still managed to take in the city by foot and venture to some of our favorite places. Not all pictured below. My last trip was much more eventful!

View From our spot in Chelsea!
All the jazz greats have played at the Vanguard. We caught a piano trio at the late show.
Rainbow Bouquets.
I adore the street fruit stands. Fruit on the go!
Went to EGG in Williamsburg for some eggs, grits, and kale.
Torst is the best! Beautiful wood interior, delicious brews, and the best Danish rye bread in all the land.

About Soup and the Clouds

I treasure the small adventures in life. Such as, listening to records, making jam from farmer's market produce, seeing new sites, eating the best tomato I've ever had, reading a good book, watching a film, appreciating a good font, going for a long bike ride or walking down a street I've never walked on before. The list goes on.
