Bike Ride from SF to Mt. Tam: German Tourist Club

I went on the longest bike ride in my personal history: 34 miles round trip. We rode from San Francisco up a mountain (Mt. Tam) to our destination, a magical Bavarian style beer garden in the woods. The German Tourist Club is only open on Sundays once of twice a month. Once there, we refueled with a picnic and beer then started the journey home. It took us 45 minutes to climb Mt. Tam but only 5 minutes to go down. No bike photos pictured, I was too busy concentrating on accomplish my goal.

About Soup and the Clouds

I treasure the small adventures in life. Such as, listening to records, making jam from farmer's market produce, seeing new sites, eating the best tomato I've ever had, reading a good book, watching a film, appreciating a good font, going for a long bike ride or walking down a street I've never walked on before. The list goes on.
