I made cara cara orange curd for the 2nd annual food swap. Cara cara oranges are in abundance at the farmer’s market. They happen to be my favorite citrus so naturally they were first pick for my swap project. I also made orange ginger mini scones as an edible receptacle to sample the curd. In return, I came home with kombucha, anisette, limoncello, preserved lemons, maraschino cherries and salted caramels.
