René Bouché: Letters from Post-War Paris

One more reason to go to the Legion of Honor if you’re in town. René Bouché gives a glimpse into everyday life in war torn Paris through illustrations accompanied by hand written text. Illustration journalism. He then left Paris for New York to depict a more glamorous life for Vogue. Both are spot on.

About Soup and the Clouds

I treasure the small adventures in life. Such as, listening to records, making jam from farmer's market produce, seeing new sites, eating the best tomato I've ever had, reading a good book, watching a film, appreciating a good font, going for a long bike ride or walking down a street I've never walked on before. The list goes on.

    Hello,

I saw the Rene Bouche exhibit in SF back in Sept, it was great. I had meant to go back and photograph all of it (if allowed), found out today that the exhibit has closed. Did you photograph any of it ?

    Thanks,

    Rob
