bon weekend! part deux!

On Saturday we walked to Golden Gate Park. Upon request, she packed the sunshine in her suitcase and we had a picnic on the grass before going to the De Young. It had been a while since I had wandered around perusing their permanent collection. It’s very eclectic. One minute you’re viewing chairs from the turn of the 20th century, then the next, a giant bowl of glass fruit from the turn of the 21st century. Then we ran into him. That’s right George Washington. She has a lot to say about him.

the bust was not a bust!

Onward, George! I especially appreciate the clouds in this rendering 🙂

About Soup and the Clouds

I treasure the small adventures in life. Such as, listening to records, making jam from farmer's market produce, seeing new sites, eating the best tomato I've ever had, reading a good book, watching a film, appreciating a good font, going for a long bike ride or walking down a street I've never walked on before. The list goes on.
